I thought I would be a natural at being natural. Painting is practice, patients, and getting out of your own way. Painting is learning to un-learn. To practice seeing. Painting is hard, rewarding, and something that fills my cup when it feels empty. If you want complements ask your family and if you want progress ask your teacher.
